DMF is seeking to hire a Protected Species Science and Monitoring Lead, as well as a Protected Species Acoustician.  We are looking for passionate individuals to oversee our research and monitoring program for North Atlantic right whales.  This is an opportunity for someone with experience in large whale population ecology, monitoring, conservation, and modeling to help develop and expand a research and monitoring program focused on NARW’s in Massachusetts coastal waters. An area with the largest seasonal aggregations of NARW in the world!  DMF is an action-oriented state natural resource agency.  This is an opportunity to conduct research that will directly inform conservation initiatives in Massachusetts.
