The University of New Hampshire – Center for Acoustics Research & Education is looking to recruit a MS or PhD student to either the Ocean Engineering or Oceanography program starting Summer/Fall 2023. Full funding is available for 3-5 years in the topical area of passive acoustic monitoring of marine mammals and ocean soundscapes. Depending upon interests, the student will have the flexibility to conduct research on questions related to marine mammal behavior & distribution, density estimation, and/or the interactions between marine life and the environment.  Required: college level calculus and physics.
