Interactive introductory distance sampling training, first announcement
Official registration for the March 2024 workshop will begin the week of 22 January 2024, but applications
are now being accepted for the widening participation scholarship (details below). Distance sampling is a method of population assessment widely used in the study of marine mammal populations.
Widening participation scholarship
One place will have the registration fee waived, for participants from under-represented groups. Details of
eligibility and application process at http://workshops.distancesampling.org/widening-participation. Deadline for scholarship applications for the March 2024 introductory workshop is 24 January 2024.
