Two Marine Mammal Commission Job Postings

The Marine Mammal Commission (www.mmc.gov)  has posted two jobs on USAJOBS:

The Policy Analyst will be responsible for organizing and carrying out reviews of domestic and international policy bearing on the conservation of marine mammals, in particular reviewing and developing Commission comments on permit applications, permit amendment requests, and other permit-related matters concerning the taking of marine mammals under the Marine Mammal Protection Act for scientific research, photography and public display.  The closing date to receive applications is 12 June 2018.

The Communications Specialist advises the Executive Director on all matters pertaining to external communications and legislative affairs, handles the communications and outreach strategy, including responsibility for the agency website, social media accounts, and outreach materials, and represents the Commission in interactions with journalists, reporters, and other media outlets. The closing date to receive applications is 7 June 2018.
