The Marine Wildlife Department are seeking a project manager to market, tender and manage departmental projects and develop a comprehensive client-base through conferences, meetings and promotion of marine wildlife services. The project manager will complete and manage quotes and tenders and oversee projects for the department.

You will be required to:

  • Oversee and manage Marine Wildlife Department Projects, from award to invoicing.
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of Pre-qualification, budgetary and tender documentation.
  • Undertake the promotion and the marketing of Marine Wildlife Services
  • Responsible for liaising with, and the development of, an extensive client-base.

  • Knowledge of the marine environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong communicator.
  • Strong organisational skills.

The following attributes are desirable:

  • Experience in the management of environmental projects.
  • Experience of working in the offshore environment preferably as a MMO / Seabird Surveyor.
  • Good standard of the English language.

This role will incorporate travel both nationally and internationally to attend meetings and conferences throughout the world. Offshore work will be required and the frequency will vary depending on the needs of the business.
